Jake now tells me that as of 8:00 AM EST that he's back to the old phone number;
0112659297708. Keep you posted on these changes, but he'll most likely be unavailable for a month anyway.

I spoke with Jake today. He was upbeat as usual despite all the challenges he faces each day. We always talk about food for some reason. One because I am interested in his diet and two he spends a lot of time thinking about food. He is making his own peanutbutter and trying to grow herbs and vegetables from the seeds I sent to him. He's concluded that CLiff bars were the best protein bar. He told me that he is always hungry no matter how much he eats. Jake we are praying for you. Don't worry more Kool Aid, Nutella and Cliff bars are coming.
Love,
Jessica
The variety of food that is available in developed countries is one of the chief advantages of living in them, but it is often related to keeping underdeveloped countries like Malawi to a monocultural export status. At one time they did have a more varied agricultural output but world bank and IMF loans have forced them to limited crop cultivation much to their and Jakes detriment.
Until you find yourself someplace like where Jake is now, it is difficult to imagine what it is like to be faced with the same diet day after day.But it is the way of the majority of poor people who live on this planet. But it does not have to be so. It is all a matter of choosing better policies-evidently there is enough food or the capacity to produce it to provide everyone on the planet a healthy well balanced diet.
So besides your peanut butter Jake don't forget your vitamins and supplements.all the best,gerald
