Spoke to Jake today, May30. His new phone number is 0112658361844, however he will be difficult to reach. He wants all to know that although living is rough, he still feels up to the challenge. Imagine having to spend an hour in the AM just preparing a cup of coffee. He bought a slice of beef in Mzuzu today and watched them slice it right off the cow. Had he been a little earlier he could have seen them kill the beast.
He wants all to know how much he appreciates your thoughts and kind words and a special thanke to Phyllis, Matt and Jessica for the packages he just received. Getting to the Post Office can be an adventure, so he asks for your indulgence as you might await correspondence from him. His ride to the city was an event as he rode with 20+ others in a pickup sitting on chicken crates with 2 Malawian women sitting on him. God bless him !
