As I spoke to Jake in our telcon of April 2, he mentioned that he felt that an adrenaline rush was keeping him from becoming too sick. Note also Irena's comment posted re: the same conversation. Irena was Jake's first host mom in Lithuania and is a practicing medical doctor. Hope you see the connection.
